Your questions answered

At tapGP we provide quality healthcare from anywhere through video and telephone consultations. Our NHS trained, UK-based GPs and clinicians are here to help you receive the care that you deserve when you cannot see your own GP. We understand the frustration of not being able to see your GP when you’d like and often having to wait many weeks. Our patients at tapGP can book same-day (usually within a few hours) appointments that are affordable without compromising on quality of care. Our GPs and clinicians can prescribe and send your prescription to any pharmacy in the UK, as well as send referral letters and sick notes to your email.

We are proud of having a service that can be easily accessed by anyone in England and Wales. So, if you’re on a business trip, trekking a mountain, on a beach holiday or sitting at home, you can have piece of mind that a GP is available to talk to directly from your phone. We can provide prescriptions to any pharmacy near you. See a clinician now by downloading the tap GP app.

Wave goodbye to waiting rooms or having to wait days for an appointment with your doctor. GP and clinician appointments are available from 8am to 10pm seven days a week. Appointments are 10 minutes but can be extended if needed.

Keeping your records safe is our top priority. We hold your records in a secure AWS database with a high level of encryption. Your records are only accessible by tapGP staff who have received training in data protection.

Your time is important to us. We aim to see patients within 15 minutes of their appointment time. On very rare occasions there may be a longer wait.

We advise that you consent to allowing us to share your tapGP medical records with your own GP. This is to ensure you receive better and safer care and will mean we can prescribe a broader range of medications

Absolutely not, tapGP does not require you to de-register with your GP and will not affect you when making future appointments with your own GP.

You can arrange a private blood test by booking an appointment and discussing your requirements with one of our GPs. Your GP will arrange the appropriate blood tests and explain how you can book the test.
