We advise that you consent to allowing us to share your tapGP medical records with your own GP. This is to ensure you receive better and safer care and will mean we can prescribe a broader range of medications.

The cost of the appointment includes prescription-writing. However, the cost of the medication prescribed will vary depending on the pharmacy. The pharmacy may also charge a private dispensing fee. NHS exemptions for prescriptions do not apply.
After your appointment, a code will be sent to you by text message and email instantly. Take this code to your local pharmacy and advise the pharmacist that you have a prescription generated by Signature Rx.
The pharmacist can issue your prescription by visiting www.signaturerx.co.uk and entering the code along with your date of birth.
Yes, our GPs can issue a fit (sick) note if they think you need one. Please request a sick note during your consultation with the GP. Your fit note will be sent to your email address soon after your appointment. You can then forward your fit note to your employer or school. tapGP fit notes cannot be used for social security or statutory pay purposes.
tapGP currently does not have direct access to your NHS medical records. However, we understand the importance of medical history, and we recommend having your medical records including medications readily available during the appointment to ensure the most comprehensive care.
